The building was designed as an architectural element like a sculpture, autonomous. Adaptation to the needsof the "Zénith", the building also reveals its role emblematic of room for performances, a playful space.
The "all-seater" configuration can cater up to 6000 people, while the "seating standing" layout can accomodate up to 8000.
The volume is impressive with ligh using a membrane stretched across the elliptical rings that are screwed around the structure. Materials will be simple and elegant: canvas, steel and cement for the structure.
The exterior finish is a PVC membrane in the mas pigmented red. Coverage below room for performances is a set of hemispheres holes which act as thermal and acoustic insulation. A polyester fabric, covers the entire building at the same time allowing the spred of a faint red light in the lobby of a public areas. |
