This study aims to include construction sites in the concept of sustainable development, it is focused on self-sustaining buildings and new construction techniques aimed at enhacing worker safety and reducing environmental impact.
Residencial units are powered by energy-saving systems (micro CPH), exploiting rain water, passive solar energy and natural ventilation. This set of building solutions together with eco-sustainable devices, ensure a high environmental sustainability, as well as grantingremarkable energy saving, pollution reduction and thermic optimizationof residential units.
Living spaces are located southward and equippedwith ventilated double glass traps rhe solar radiation and storing the heat. During summer, external curtains reduce the amount of solar radiations crossing the glass and excess heat is dispersed by natural ventilation system.
On the rooftop a photovoltaic system can be set up to replace or support the micro CHP system in accordin to the geographical area where the building is constructed. |
