AUTOMATIC CONTROL AND SYSTEMS CENTER
In this room engineers research systems and algorithms for organizing huge amounts of data. A new suspended dismantable mezzanine holds a meeting space surrounded by technical books stored on thin white bookshelves.
Three cables and three beams hold in place a 35mm thin laminated beech lumber floor, pigmented with a transparent blueish grey finish. Notes of color are bestowed by serene green chairs and linear suspended light fixtures. The lighting was designed and produced to provide the space with direct and indirect dimmable light.
