This work surface is composed of six tables which slide into various configurations but never scatter. Originally designed specifically for the co-working space of the engineering school Mines ParisTech, it can change shapes according to various work configurations of the students : working alone, in groups of two or more, listening to a presentation or conference, or having a group discussion.

The constant link between the tables underlines the very nature of the space, namely the fact that people using this room must share their work space, even when focusing on separate projects.
